Creating Stories That Connect: A Pastor’s Guide to Storytelling, is well worth the time of the preaching pastor. In the vein of Calvin Miller, author Bruce Seymour offers help to all of us who face the challenge of communicating “the old old story” to Biblically illiterate generations of people we are trying to reach with gospel. This book will force you to think imaginatively and narratively. Personally, I found it encouraging and mind stretching and I recommend it to my fellow preachers and teachers of the Word.
