Joan of Arc

As musket balls and canon balls flew, and the 15th Century French Army prepared to retreat before the dominance of the English one more time, the visionary Joan of Arc prepared to scale the enemy’s wall with a shield of faith and her sacred sword. An officer bellowed out, “Don’t go over the wall. No one will follow you!” The teenage peasant girl, strengthened by her faith in a mighty God, replied, “I’m not going to be looking to see if anyone is following me. I’m going over the wall.”
